Lakshmis Hotel Ella

The staff here were friendly, the rooms were spotless, and there's a balcony with a lovely view where you can relax, plus we loved the tasty breakfast they served.

Fantastic base for exploring Ella. Wonderful little place for one night with pleasant view to the mountains and teaplantages. Marvellous and beautiful location close to the railway line, and only about 10 minutes' walk to Ella centre.

The staff here are incredibly helpful and provide excellent service at this beautiful location, my room with a lovely balcony view made my stay very enjoyable.

Delicious breakfasts are available. the big bed in the room is incredibly comfortable. - the location in Ella is fantastic, right by the town center.

This place has a convenient location close to the railway and main road, making it easy to access the main tourist area, plus they offer a wide selection of delicious breakfast options.

The balcony had amazing views and the beds and showers were great. We were warmly welcomed and received great advice from the owners about the surrounding area. The breakfast was lavish and delicious. Even though there was some noise at night, they provided ear plugs which helped. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in paradise.

I had a great experience at Lakshmis Hotel. the location was fantastic, with a beautiful view of a tea plantation from our balcony. It was also conveniently situated, just a short walk into town and close to the train station. the staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very clean. the breakfast provided was delicious and filling, and the omelette in particular was a highlight.

The owners and staff were lovely and provided helpful advice on the best walks in the area. Cons: Nothing to fault!

The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was amazing, providing plenty of hot water for two showers. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the included breakfast was great. The hotel's location near the town center was convenient, and the views from the room were breathtaking. it was a warm and inviting place to stay.

I recently stayed at Lakshmis Hotel Ella during a business trip, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent choice made by my director. The hotel offers a range of fantastic facilities that truly enhanced my stay. One standout feature was the spa services available to guests. I treated myself to a relaxing massage and it truly made a difference, helping me unwind after a long day of work. The skilled therapists and serene ambiance created a truly rejuvenating experience.

Despite the various reviews mentioning potential noise disturbances, I must admit that I had a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep during my stay at Lakshmis Hotel.

No air conditioning in bedrooms.

This centrally-located hotel is perfect for those wanting to explore the area, as it is within walking distance of the train station and close to everything. The staff is very helpful and willing to arrange transport if needed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh and well-priced options. The views from the terrace are breathtaking, especially during the sunrise. You can even enjoy a hot shower after a long day of exploring.

The outdoor furniture on the roof terrace is still being set up and is not available yet.

The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The lack of fly screens on the windows allowed insects to enter the room.

Great location near popular attractions and amenities. Friendly and helpful staff who arranged transportation and provided useful local recommendations. Delicious breakfast served with a beautiful view.

Noisy at night due to nearby dogs barking and fighting. Rooms are not well-insulated, allowing cold drafts.
